Accounting for Amendments to the Territory Planning Documentation
Decision-making in the field of urban planning should be made on the basis of high-quality and up-to-date urban planning documentation. The quality of urban planning documentation depends on many factors, ranging from the existing requirements for spatial data at the federal and regional levels to the integrity of the design organization. The issue of current urban planning documentation can be resolved with the help of Geometa.
As part of the implementation of the Information and analytical system for managing the urban development of the territory (hereinafter referred to as the the System) in the city of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, one of the main tasks was to implement a single up-to-date map of planning and land surveying projects. The peculiarity of the territory is that there are a large number of approving documents, which made changes to the already existing documentation on the planning of the territory.
An additional module was implemented on the basis of Geometa, which enables users when making changes to the territory planning documentation to update a single map that contains data from the approved part of the territory planning documentation for the entire territory: red lines, zones of planned placement of capital construction objects, formed land plots and etc. The module allows users to carry out a mass transfer of irrelevant objects to an archive on the basis of a spatial analysis of the contours of documents, while not deleting them from the System.
Geometa users often resort to the functionality of spatial analysis for a certain territory. At the same time, a single map of planning and surveying projects makes it possible not to take into account irrelevant objects in the results of the analysis request, despite the fact that they are part of the current document. Also, the advantage of the implementation is the ability to view the original version of the graphical part of any document in vector form.
A single up-to-date map of planning and surveying projects in the System of the city of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk made it possible to optimize decision-making in the field of urban planning, for example, when issuing a land parcel map.
